| There are skeletons here...
... skeletons of mills that once pumped smoke and sawdust. Now the pilings point to the sky - just a hint of the history that once graced these bays. This was Donovan's mill #1. One of the many that sawed the giant logs, that made the lumber, that rebuilt San Francisco after the fire. At times, the sky's reflection in the waters is like a golden gravestone, marking the memories of the men and machines that once toiled here.
